Louisiana-based ‘industrial bass’ pioneer, SINTHETIK MESSIAH has unveiled their latest EP, Beneath The Surface.

Beneath The Surface is a descent into the undercurrent — a raw, unfiltered excavation of the chaos, cruelty, and confusion that define the world we live in. Each track is a spade hitting the dirt, digging deeper into the systems, histories, traumas, and human instincts that keep everything so relentlessly messed up. It’s not about offering answers. It’s about refusing to look away.

Sonically, the EP blends the smoky unease of 90s trip-hop with the rusted edge of 90s industrial — a fusion of broken textures, distorted synths, and dragging, dirt-covered beats. It’s jagged, emotional, and sometimes angry — the way truth sounds when it’s unearthed.

With erratic and anomalous punctuation defining their testy antagonistic electronic stylings, the latest offering from self-styled ‘Industrial Bass’ pioneer, SINthetik Messiah is nothing if not intriguing.

This time around, there’s something of a ‘concept’ element to the work, outlined as follows: ‘In a galaxy torn by strife, a hero rises but falls to tyranny, sparking rebellion. Amid chaos, a journalist’s death fuels uprising, while another leader seeks peace. War looms between factions, as a loyalist questions his cause amidst shadowy manipulation, setting the stage for a power struggle.’

As such, there’s a keen narrative element to the album, which we learn via the pitch ‘expertly fuses industrial and drum and bass genres, creating a unique blend known as ‘Industrial bass.’ It serves as a sonic reflection of contemporary challenges, infused with a sci-fi allure.’

The end product is techno and gothy, heads down, heavy. ‘Assassins That Run On Faith’ brings driving techno and stomping beats and calls to mind later Pitch Shifter, and the same is true of ‘Don’t Lose Who You Are’.

A lot of the narrative element is lost on me, and maybe lost in translation.

Lies, SEcrets & Death is big on energy, and throbs and pulses away, hard, and deep. The beats blast hard and thrammer away relentlessly, and it’s tense and taut and delivers on its promise. But ultimately it’s a dance record, and I can’t get into that groove.

Louisiana’s ‘Industrial Bass’ pioneer, SINthetik Messiah has just unveiled their new single, ‘I Wanna Be Alive With You’.

‘I Wanna Be Alive With You’ tells the tale of a ghost watching and wanting to be alive with his lover  The track is a hybrid of Industrial Noise and Drum ‘N’ Bass.

Blending various elements of industrial, electro, dance, rock, ambient and pop. The international act, SINthetik Messiah(SM) is the work of the Cajun songwriter and sound designer, Bug Gigabyte. The name is a misspelling of the of the term ‘synthetic messiah’, which is the pronunciation used by the band. SM has received radio play, publicity and respect from peers alike from around the globe.

The greatest threat to democracy in the USA is that of communism – not as a social ideology, but rather, one that is psychological in nature. In communist countries, people do not have freedoms or rights. They are modern day slaves who have been brainwashed to love their government.

But ‘Know Your Enemy’ is not about a war that is fought with a bullet, but rather, a war that starts in the enemy’s mind. That war in our minds is the USA’s greatest threat.

‘Know Your Enemy’ presents a blended sound that is inspired by EBM, Industrial Bass and Power Noise. The single also features remixes by SpankTheNun and Anthony H.

When industrial bass artist, Bug Gigabyte heard TikTok star, Kamarah Rae’s ‘a cappella’ rendition of Sam Smith’s ‘Unholy’ with her lyrical re-write, he immediately felt inspired. He wanted to write a full track sampling her vocals while adding his own. So….. he did. 

“When I first heard her version, it inspired me to continue the story and emotion of what she is talking about in the track. I wanted to express the emotions of her lyrics through the music, to bring her idea deeper down the "rabbit hole. This is my tribute to all the female witches in the world, much love goddesses”. – Bug Gigabyte

Louisiana-based industrial bass artist SINthetik Messiah has unleashed a provocative new single.  ‘Assassins That Run On Faith’ takes aim at violence and abuse in the Vatican.

"For 1,000s of years inside the Vatican a covenant of nuns exist solely to rid the evil of this world. Through sheer violence, this covenant was able to bring the Vatican to its current day power." – Bug Gigabyte

Included in the recording is an authentic recording of Pope Francis apologizing to nuns for abuse.

The release includes a remix by none other than Tom Shear of Assemblage 23.

Industrial bass act SINthetik Messiah has just unveiled their new single, ‘Religious Soldier’.

‘Religious Soldier’ is about exposing religious leaders for brainwashing, abusing their followers and specifically, how they want their flock to be ‘good soldiers’ in their own twisted version of what it means to serve God. Setting the tone of the new single, SINthetik Messiah’s ‘Religious Soldier’ features a recording of a fake priest performing a fake exorcism on a brainwashed woman.

The sonic hammer of sound behind ‘Religious Soldier’ draws musical inspiration from the hardcore drum and bass, power noise, EBM, and old school industrial music scenes. The main vocalist, Bug Gigabyte takes his vocals from a punk rock type scream to a full on male choir. Lyrically, he begs the audience to wake up and not fall into a cult.

This two-track EP precedes a full length album due out in 2022.

Multi-genre artist, SINthetik Messiah has just unleashed two new singles for Christmas. ‘In My Dreams’ is a collaboration with The Other LA. You can listen to this here:

The track ‘In My Dreams’ was originally produced by Cj Pierce of Drowning Pool for The Other LA’s self-titled album that was released in 2016. The Other LA approached Bug Gigabyte to take the music and bring it on a more twisted,  electronic journey. After receiving the original track stems, Bug took the audio , ground it up into a new composition and added more drums, guitars, synths and vocals. Grammy nominated engineer Joe Haze (Lords of Acid/The Banishment) then used his mastery of analog mix and mastering technology to glue all the chaos of the track together.

The band also presents their cover of Atari Teenage Riot’s, ‘Destroy 2000 Years Of Culture,’ which seems quite appropriate in 2020. 

Their first cover was meant to be an updated American version of the 1997 track ‘Destroy 2000 Years Of Culture’ by the revolutionary electronic noise act, Atari Teenage Riot.  Originally ATR sampled the track ‘Dead Skin Mask’ by American metal  act Slayer, from their 1990 album, Seasons in the Abyss. 
In continuing the tradition of the ATR song and ideas behind both acts’ music, Bug Gigabyte sampled the same Slayer track and gave a new spin to the fundamentals of what makes Atari Teenage Riot. Once Bug finished composing the cover, he then passed it on to Grammy nominated engineer, Joe Haze(Lords Of Acid, The Banishment) for mixing and mastering with analog technology.
