Creative powerhouse MILDREDA will make your skin crawl with their eerie lyric video for ‘Silk Skin’, the next advance single taken from the Belgian dark electro duo’s forthcoming double album Realities, which has been slotted in for release on August 28, 2026.

Mildreda comment: “This track revolves around unspoken desires and the familiar, exhausting push and pull between longing and retreat”, mastermind Jan Dewulf writes about the lyrical content. “I wanted to transform that tension into a ritual – a feverish invocation, a dance that binds, summons, and slowly pulls you under. Musically, the heavy bass was a happy accident in the studio, one that instantly revealed the direction that I needed to take. Mildreda’s video ‘Liaisons Dangereuses’ selected by Brussels Independent Film Festival

MILDREDA’s sinister video clip ‘Liaisons Dangereuses’ has been selected by the Brussels Independent Film Festival in the short film category "The Rabbit Holes". This category is dedicated to a cinematic rabbit hole of offbeat, weird, wonderful, poetic, surreal, and abstract films. The clip had been created by the Belgian production house Pigeon Eggs and features Belgian actress and model Miss C.

Mildreda comment: “The girl in the video played by Miss C symbolises a ‘poisonous muse’, which is what I like to call this type of character”, explains mastermind Jan Dewulf. “In the short film, you will see that the girl evolves from white to black, which illustrates her allegorical shift from ‘good to evil’. Though in fact, she was toxic from the start.”

‘Liaisons Dangereuses’ has been taken from Mildreda’s critically acclaimed physical debut full-length I Was Never Really There.

In the wake of the release of their critically acclaimed physical debut full-length I Was Never Really There, Belgian dark electro trailblazers MILDREDA are now unveiling the illuminating video clip ‘Inner Judgement’. The single had scored #4 in the German Alternative Charts.

MILDREDA comment: "The ‘poisonous muse’, who casts her dark shadow across I was Never Really There and who made her first visible appearance in the ‘Liaisons Dangereuses’ video, now returns to full view in the ‘Inner Judgement’ clip", explains mastermind Jan Dewulf. "This enigmatic being remains cool and impassive in the face of all the anger and biting frustration that push this song forward."
