SLAUGHTERDAY let loose their new grindcore tribute EP Terrified today, on November 21, 2025. The German death metal veterans are dedicating this EP to the original firestarters of grindcore.

SLAUGHTERDAY commented: “This EP differs stylistically from our regular releases, because it is a tribute to the old grind bands like Repulsion and Napalm Death, which is also reflected in the cover and the logo”, guitarist Jens Finger wrote. “Of course, this immediately brings to mind Repulsion’s title ‘Horrified’ – which was exactly our intention. Every track is a short, sharp attack on the ears. What you hear is what you’ll get: bursts of explosive energy, razor-sharp riffs, and relentless rhythms – uncompromising and unrestrained!”

On their Terrified EP, death metal aficionados SLAUGHTERDAY deliver four short sharp chops as a tribute to the early pioneers of grindcore. This EP should therefore be regarded as a crushing interlude between two albums rather than a foretaste of brutal things to come on their next full-length.

Great Old Ones, forbidden sounds, tentacled death metal is rising… the German death metal powerhouse comes with a pedigree that amounts to nobility in the northwestern corner of their country.

SLAUGHTERDAY were formed in the East Frisian city of Leer in 2010. The original and still remaining core duo consists of string-shredder Jens Finger, who served as the guitarist of Oldenburgian death metal legends OBSCENITY from 1994 until 2010 and is also the growler of new label mates TEMPLE OF DREAD. The other half of the duo is personified by vocalist and drummer Bernd Reiners, who has also lent his voice to Aurich based death thrashers BK 49 among other acts.

From the start, SLAUGHTERDAY have channelled the raw, morbid spirit of such old school giants as AUTOPSY, DEATH, and MASSACRE. Yet while they always deliver crushing riffs and brutal pounding, these Germans come with captivating choruses and haunting melodies that set them apart from many of their deadly peers.

BONGINATOR celebrate their big bad yellow tour-vehicle with the new video single ‘Short Ass Bus’. The New England death metal posse has invited Abel Abarca, vocalist of American hardcore maniacs BIG ASS TRUCK from Inland Empire, CA, and vocalist Colin Richardson from their brothers-in-grooves IGNOMINIOUS to the party and you should totally feel free to join the fun, too!

The track has been cranked from the Americans’ second full-length Retrodeath, which will change the rotation of this planet on October 24, 2025.

BONGINATOR comment: “When you were a kid, did you have to ride the short bus to school?”, vocalist and shredder Erik Thorstenn wants to know. “Wait… that was just us? Anyway, this song is a banger and features our homies Abel Abarca from Big Ass Truck and Colin Richardson from Ignominious. It’s a song about going to school, being covered in drool, and having a big ass. Also the guitar solo is sick. Just saying. No clue, how we will pull that off live. Listen and tell us what you think! But uh… Are you serious that none of you rode the short bus to school?”

Cowabunga! BONGINATOR are back with a vengeance! The New England death metal posse is steaming full weed ahead with their sophomore full-length Retrodeath, which will be out on October 24, 2025. As an obvious sign of insanity, with ’80s synthwave added to death metal brutality, the video single Pizza Time featuring their vocalist buddy Vinny Castellano (BELUSHI SPEED BALL) is now being unleashed onto an unsuspecting metal world that will never be the same!

BONGINATOR comment: “Cowabunga, bitch!”, audio torture tortoise Erik Thorstenn states matter of fact. “This is our righteous new banger best enjoyed with Bonginator’s favorite meal, pizza! Remember – chicks love dudes who eat out! On this one, our metalocity is off the charts! This is a bodacious rager for doing bong rips and stage diving. Just don’t tell Master Splinter about the primo kush that we got, yeah? Anyway, go stream this one, and if someone doesn’t dig it… what the shell?”

Skål! German death metal militants SCALPTURE unleash the new video clip ‘Schwedentrunk’ in the wake of the release of their new full-length Landkrieg (‘Land Warfare’), which hit the world hard on March 7, 2025.

AA

The title ‘Schwedentrunk’ (‘Swedish Drink’) refers to a torture method, which was allegedly used at first by the troops of Gustav II Adolph, King of Sweden but got quickly adopted by all marauding troops ravaging the German lands during the 30 Years’ War (1618-1648). It was executed by forcing liquid manure and sewage down the throats of its victims.

The video clip was partially shot during SCALPTURE’s release show at Rare Guitar in Münster, Germany on March 7, and on the subsequent tour with CARNAL TOMB.

SCALPTURE comment: “The track ‘Schwedentrunk’ has quickly grown into a favourite both of the band as well as during our shows since Landkrieg was released in March”, guitarist Felix Marbach writes. “Much of the footage was shot at our release show and also during the tour with Carnal Tomb. The live video captures the raw ferocity on stage, but it is also a reminder of the intense time that we were able to share with so many of you. With some summer festivals on the horizon, we are going to pick up right there, where we left off.”

KHNVM unleash a new video single featuring the title track  of their new full-length Cosmocrator. The fourth album of the German death metal act with Bangladeshi roots has been scheduled for release on August 29, 2025.

AA

KHNVM comment: “The title track of our new album, ‘’Cosmocrator’, delves into the duality of its name, which translates as ‘Ruler of the World’ as well as its sinister connotation meaning ‘Satan’ within ancient pagan texts”, singer and guitarist Obliterator states. "This reflects our exploration of themes that are both universally human and also profoundly dark. Through intense musicality and complex lyricism, we confront the unsettling truths that lie beneath the surface of existence, appealing to those who seek adrenaline combined with philosophical depth.”

Azure Emote unveil the noire video clip ‘Bleed with the Moon’ as the final advance single taken from their new full-length Cryptic Aura. The fourth studio album of the American progressive death alchemists has been chalked up for release on July 25, 2025.

AA

AZURE EMOTE comment: “Overall, ‘Bleed with the Moon’ is conceptually very simple and straightforward, but also one of the more personal songs on the album”, mastermind Mike Hrubovcak reveals. “Alcohol is a demon and I’ve named him Al-Kuhl. This analogy is based on my personal experiences and the lyrics are about getting possessed by this demon around a bonfire in the woods at night. I’m not trying to glorify excessive drinking here. I rather artistically convey the passion, euphoria, and physical and mental dangers of convening with such ‘spirits’ in the heat of the moment. I have a love/hate relationship with Al-Kuhl and I have learned that eventually it ends up taking much more than it gives. This song was written during such a night however, and even the album cover is a photo of a homemade skeleton that I made and burned in the woods along with a bottle and a bonfire.”

KHNVM drop the video clip ‘Fetid Eden’ as the first single taken from their new full-length Cosmocrator. The fourth album of the German death metal act with Bangladeshi roots has been scheduled for release on August 29, 2025.

AA

KHNVM comment: “Our new single, ‘Fetid Eden’ is not merely music – but a visceral report from the heart of conflict”, singer and guitarist Obliterator explains. “This track plunges listeners into the brutal aftermath of war, where shattered dreams lie scattered like debris across ravaged landscapes, and the echoes of loss reverberate through the silence. This is a soundscape where the weight of existence is amplified by the relentless machinery of war and every breath is a struggle against the suffocating grip of despair. ‘Fetid Eden’ serves as a stark reminder of the enduring human cost of conflict, a descent into the gore-soaked reality that lies beyond the headlines. As the lead single of our upcoming album, it signals our unflinching commitment to confronting the darkest aspects of the human condition in a world consumed by violence.”

AZURE EMOTE present the video clip ‘Disease of the Soul’ as the next single taken from their new full-length Cryptic Aura. The fourth studio album of the American progressive death alchemists has been slated for release on July 25, 2025.

AZURE EMOTE comment:  “The dichotomy of silver and gold is forever entangled in our lives and pulling our proverbial strings”, mastermind Mike Hrubovcak states. ”This world suffers from an oppressive wealth corruption that engulfs every human soul. A landscape of crushed hopes is polluting our intentions and confusing our innate senses. When we relinquish control over to fear, the uncertainty slowly erodes our focus from what is meaningful to that which is an endless struggle. Much like the quick glimmer of silver and gold, it quickly passes like our reflection in the mirror over time. This hell that we try to erase, reflects on us face to face, as we observe this daily calamity and struggle with the agony of reality.”

AZURE EMOTE drop the video clip ‘Feast of Leeches’ as the first single taken from their new full-length Cryptic Aura. The fourth studio album of the American progressive death alchemists has been scheduled for release on July 25, 2025.

AZURE EMOTE comment: “The first single ‘Feast of Leeches’ is a frantic release of anger and madness”, mastermind Mike Hrubovcak writes. “For far too long have we suffered the pressure of outside vultures feeding off our personal energies. It’s fitting that this video was created by ‘Drain Hope’, because it visually expresses the frustration of being surrounded by leeches and parasites that are sucking on our lifeblood, while leaving us ultimately drained and lethargic. It’s like suffocating under dirt but still crawling through the mud in hopes of getting out. We are all waiting to breathe, but always holding our breath, and continually striving to be, while awaiting our death.”
