The press release: ‘Punk Slime Recordings are proud to present the Belgian garage punk quartet Mind Rays and their debut album Nerve Endings. Mind Rays have quickly emerged as one of the most exciting new garage acts in mainland Europe, and with Nerve Endings they’re set to take over the world. Lead single ‘Still & All’ was released in November and second single ‘Demuie’ is out now, with the full-length arriving on March 24 via PNKSLM Recordings, and now they’ve shared a video for ‘Demuie’ as well, directed by Thomas Peeters. UK & EU tour dates around the album release to be announced, including their debut London show in mid-March.

We at Aural Aggravation really rate ‘Demuie’, which is why we’re streamng the video here:

You want slow-buiding, psych-tinged shoegaze with a magnificent motorik groove? We’ve got it right here. Lifted from their upcoming debut album Call Them Brothers, it’s seven and three-quarter minutes of blissed-out, FX-laden alternative rock steeped in the haze of 90s greats like Ride and Chapterhouse. But enough preamble. Watch and listen. And enjoy.

The band who brought us ‘Riot Revolt Revolution (Tory Bastard Scum)’, Razor Sharp Death Blizzard, recently unleashed their new video for what their PR describe as ‘the shattering’ “There Will Be Blood”.

Since releasing their first EP “Riot, Revolt, Revolution” themselves in 2015, the band have been busy making a name for themselves on the UK live circuit, with their ferocious shows and politically charged shards of punk hate. In January 2016 the band returned to the studio to work with producer Chris Fielding at Skyhammer Studios in Scotland to record their thrilling new record; “You Will Burn”. Nine blasts of furious, nihilistic noise that prises its way between The Exploited and Dead Kennedy’s like an unwelcome dinner guest.

Frontman Jamie Clark simply had this to say on the track: “The change is coming, there will be blood, revolution needs to come our governments are playing us for fools. The world is fucked, but we the people can rise above the scum.”

Grunge is not dead. What’s more, with Hands Off Gretel, it’s kicking, scratching an hollering loud and angry. Having grabbed our attention last year, they’re starting 2017 in suitably fiery fashion, with a new self-released video. ‘World Against She’ is an angst-spitting belter. You can watch it here, and we srongly recommend that you do:

What the fuck is this? What are these guys on? We’re not entirely sure, but this weirdy vid is an approproate accompaniment to the gnre-clash hip-hop alt-rock oddity that is ‘Mother Acid’ (maybe that’s a clue to the answer to the second question) by Sewer Rats. We recommend watching and getting you lugs round what is, undeniably, a nifty tune.

Swedish metal/crust punk outfit Martyrdöd – featuring members of Skitsystem, Agrimonia, and others – has just revealed an official video for the track "Handlöst Fallen Ängel," hailing from the band’s album List, which was released through Southern Lord in November. Filmed and edited by Jimmy Johansson, also responsible for Martyrdöd’s recent "Harmagedon" video, the riotous live-filmed "Handlöst Fallen Ängel" can be viewed below:

Experimental Italian duo OvO  have shared a a new video from their upcoming album ‘Creatura’. ’Satanam’ is described as “the discovery of a secret, a revelation that involves the freaky, weird inhabitants of a roulotte. Invocations and rituals bring OvO to them. In this story, OvO are the tree of life and death, and underground door to other dimensions”.
